If you have a limited budget, and you don't mind not listen to music at all or just having 1 or 2 albums on your iPod touch, then the 8gb one is a good choice since it's cheap enough.

If you can spare $100 more then get the 32gb model at least, the 8gb one has outdated hardware, there're already some games that don't support the 2nd generation well, and you'll see more games requiring or optimized for the 3rd gen(32gb/64gb) this year.

I say buy the 32 iPod Touch. I bought 1 Ipod Touch with 8 G a year ago, the intention was mp3, videos and wifi but the I discovered the games and the 8 G is short for music, video and games. Now a year later I have a 64 G iTouch, I prefer to have the full mp3 collection, 2 or 3 seasons of different tv shows, some movies and games lately are usually 100 megas or more. If you can stay with just a little bit of your collections then the 8 will be fine too

Lol! idk, maybe he wants more posts or something...

But while I'm here, get the 32 no question, unless you REALLY can't afford the extra 100.

trust me, when you get the touch, something horrible happens.
You start spending all your time that should be dedicated to studying and homework on school days to messing with it. 7gb fills up in a week.
I have 300+ apps. I have a 7gb. I have 3gb of the latest pop music always as well. Don't torture yourself like I did. Get the 32 please.

    Hi,

To the OP, if I was in your situation and had your requirements, I would get the 32GB.

Peronally, in a month or two, I plan to buy the 64GB for music and some movies.

I would make sure to buy one size more than you think you need, this is why I suggested the 32GB.

    Good luck.

Wait for the iSlate at the end of the month. ;)

Seriously, the 32gb's OpenGL hardware is the one to aim for if you can spare the cash. If you can go the distance, get the 64gb so you don't need to delete apps and music that you like. Believe me, it gets full quite fast. Mine has around 2gb left.
