An incredible release week, it's like 2012 all over again. The poll is live ladies and gentlefolk, so vote for any and all of your favourite games this week. ****************
We have our first vote and it's for Corpse Party BLOOD DRIVE by djstout. And here's what dj had to say about the game in the main thread: Nice one, dj!
I picked Missileman and Glitchskier. They are vertical shmups and both are well-designed, very fun, and premium. Missileman is so colorful and frantic, with a sweet upgrade system and rogue-like elements. Glitchskier is the first game I put into my GotY folder, so it's my top choice of the two picks. I adore the "old computer" aesthetic in the menus and the game itself is one of the most unique shoot 'em ups I've played.
For me it is definitely Frostrune! A unique setting, beautiful sound and visuals, an intriguing plot, and not too much handholding for an adventure game. Good start into February.
I voted for Glitchskier, even though I haven't played it. (I know that sounds bad, but I have a hardware issue...) Everything about Glitchy screams play me and love me!! "Oh, I will play you Glitchskier!" Yes, I will. Not today, or tomorrow but one day...you will be mine!
I voted Corpse Party Blood Drive, because I'm too scared to vote for anything else. Genuinely deserves to win, IMO, but no $12.99 game (and that's a really hefty sale price!) can compete with the others as not enough people will have played it. That said, Glitchskier looks awesome. Hope they release an update that takes it below the iOS 10 requirement.
Man pixel craft is such an amazing shoot em up. It's pretty much there with sky force in content and gameplay at the launch of skyforce.
The poll is closed and we have our winner. In what was a very strong release week a big congratulations must go to Glitchskier by Shelly Alon, winning with 33.90% of the vote! Well, damn. Those are some pretty good impressions. It's a shame the game doesn't support iOS 9. Corpse Party: Blood Drive took 2nd place with 13.56% and tied for 3rd place was The Frostrune and Missileman respectively, with 11.86%. Congrats to all the games nominated, and thanks to all who voted!
