We're rolling out a fix to Apple right away, so you should have a new build in a day or two, pending Apple's review. Thanks for helping us find this one, and sorry you haven't been able to play the game. rIcHrAnDoM Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Nov 17, 2008 7,936 30 38 Steelworker/Welder Indiana, USA #8 rIcHrAnDoM, Jul 9, 2017 Liking the tabletop game graphics here. Pretty bold move for an indie developer. Bethor Well-Known Member Oct 11, 2015 145 0 16 #11 Bethor, Jul 9, 2017 It's a fun game but, I don't see myself paying 9.99 for a character when games like Warhammer Quest has add on characters for 2.99 without an engery timer. I know it's not a puzzle game but they are both dungeon crawls. I do wish you luck, the game is fun but the price is too steep to buy a new character plus having to pay 19.99 to remove timers. Misguided Well-Known Member Jan 27, 2009 2,346 19 38 #12 Misguided, Jul 9, 2017 Yeah, I watched some video earlier since I couldn't play. I mean no offense to anyone, but I was pretty shocked when I saw there was a character unlock for ten bucks. The concept is decent enough, but comparing it to experience with other titles, that's not what I would have expected here. Enker Well-Known Member May 15, 2014 85 0 6 #13 Enker, Jul 9, 2017 If the top price had been £5 I'd have napped the character and energy unlock for £10, but it's rather pricey otherwise. Frequent crashes and some slowdown on iPhone 5c Otherwise I do genuinely like this dungeon crawl a lot. Repulsa Well-Known Member Jul 3, 2015 1,582 79 48 #14 Repulsa, Jul 9, 2017 I don't think you should charge more then say Nitrome does for an unlock and theirs range from 2.99 to 4.99 you will get more sales if you lower those prices sobriquet Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Jul 30, 2015 1,216 1 38 #15 sobriquet, Jul 9, 2017 Nitrome is the exact comparison I made when I saw the prices here. Even a company as well know and polished as Nitrome doesn't charge more then $5 for a "premium" unlock. I didn't notice any ads while I was playing. I think maybe they should look at that. A lot more people will watch ads before they will spend even a couple of dollars on a game. Enker Well-Known Member May 15, 2014 85 0 6 #16 Enker, Jul 9, 2017 There's a lot of console quality games from big devs that can be brought for less than £19.99 there's a certain element of feeling for the team whilst maybe suggesting they reel in their expectations. Nullzone ð® Spam Police ð Jul 12, 2013 3,669 79 48 Male #17 Nullzone, Jul 9, 2017 I wanted to come back with more detailed impressions tomorrow or so. But almost everyone here made the main point already, that the pricing is completely out of proportion for what is on offer (both in terms of gameplay and developer/IP reputation). Bethor made the same comparison that came to my mind immediately: Warhammer Quest. Only that WHQ offers a lot more gameplay and content than this here. I won't even bother to go into detail about the various design flaws I noticed (and for "industry veterans", those are inexcusable). While this looked promising at first glance (Glitterdeep is just too good a name, I'll remember it and keep making jokes about glittery disco dwarves ) , I can only give a "not recommended" to it. imdakine1 Well-Known Member Aug 23, 2011 1,229 22 38 #18 imdakine1, Jul 9, 2017 Personally, seems interesting but from the beginning as an old school gamer I've chosen to sworn off F2P and games with IAPS that appear to be necessary (gold) or other IAPS. I prefer premium with no IAP or premium with maybe IAP if they are for costumes, new characters, expansions etc... It's just me as I realize I have little time to play games and to many games that keep coming out... To bad this f2p seems to be exactly like all other f2p games... ny comments aren't to say that I don't understand the costs to develop games and many iOS gamers aren't willing to pay premium proxies even though iOS prices are not even close to console game prices etc.. trust me coming from pong, Atari, NES, supers nes, saga Genesis, saga cd etc.... I've paid my share of $29.99-59.99 games etc... Lanternboy Woods New Member Jul 8, 2017 3 0 0 #19 Lanternboy Woods, Jul 9, 2017 Thanks for all the excellent feedback! I wanted to let you know that we are examining pricing and will be considering dropping prices to be more competitive with other games. To be candid, while weve worked on pricing for IAP on larger games, how to price our side project is, in some regards, an experiment. Generally it is much more difficult to increase prices rather than decrease, this means at launch we may have erred on the side of higher rather than lower. I wanted to call out that the game IAP comparisons that you shared are appreciated. Our goal is not to rip off customers but to come up with good value propositions. Since we chose F2P as our model, we acknowledge that players have every opportunity to not spend for the game we made, its our job to come up with creative challenges and additional content that feels good to purchase. That way we can afford to continue to work on this game and future side projects. Thanks again, please stay tuned. -Michael Woods Lantern Boy stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,878 355 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #20 stubbieoz, Jul 9, 2017 Good to hear that the devs are looking at the costing, because currently they are way over the top. I give you an example what the prices are in Australian dollars. Extra character $15 Infinite energy $31 500 gems $8 Extra character plus gold and gems $31 So to get the game up to premium status it will cost $15 for the extra character and $31 for infinite energy. Total $46 and I still don't know how balanced the game is for gem drops! Basically the game seems like a casual puzzle game with some light RPG elements. When you look at the current pricing you start to think that the game is almost a scam. It doesn't matter how good the game is. When people see that costing they will run away from the game just like I did. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
