Hi guys Can you please update me with the present total number of iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users separately. I searched several time but couldn't find the latest data. Any link also will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
According to the article at http://osxdaily.com/2010/09/07/ios-devices-sold/ as of early September, Apple has sold 120 million iOS devices with a breakdown of 67.6 million iPhones (56%), 7.2 million iPads (6%) and 45.2 million iPod Touches (38%). Also, according to Apple's earnings call last month, they sold their 125th million iOS device sometime in September. Since they reported 100 million iOS devices sold in June this means they are now selling 25 million iOS devices per quarter, or 100 million iOS devices per year, with no signs of slowing down. It's a good time to be a developer
That doesn't necessarily mean one iDevice per person...i am sure some people have more than one, while others have replaced old ones.
