Unless of course you were lucky enough to spot the change to free and download the game before the subsequent update that forces the ads. In other words, I got the free version without ads and providing I dont update to latest version then it seems I wont have to endure the annoyance that brings. That said, its a fun game and Im enjoying it - the least I can do is recommend others download it as well and watch a few ads to say thanks to the devs.
Well so far Ive seen no sign of ads at all - optional or otherwise, so Im still thinking I got in there before the update. Still really enjoying the game too, highly recommend others give it a try.
That one is an OPTIONAL ads. Is a good kind of monetization method. It cant be removed and is a good thing. No forced ads spotted. Reinstalled the game because its really polished.
Nope. Like I say, I downloaded as soon as I saw it go free on AppShopper - then a few hours later, got an update come through for the optional ads. Just didnt bother to update and have yet to see any offers to watch any ads for anything.
Okay after about 5 hours of playthrough I can say this is an amazing game and the nicest f2p system ever. No forced ads at all. The only ads are the ones you choose to boost your rewards. So basically I'm going through the game without seeing a single ad. Hats off to the devs, I do hope people that are into fast progress do watch ads to give them money though - as an rpg gamer this feels like I got the entire game for free. (Which is pretty much true)
