Sadly, saw the IAP's and changed my mind. nfong Well-Known Member Aug 30, 2011 1,186 1 38 #4 nfong, May 23, 2012 Yep, because every single game with IAPS is inherently bad spidey Well-Known Member Jun 24, 2010 964 2 0 India #5 spidey, May 23, 2012 So this isn't? What's worse than games with IAPs are games which stop your progress till you buy IAPs after you have put in 2 hours into the game. UmbraVir Well-Known Member Sep 4, 2011 491 0 0 Student CT #6 UmbraVir, May 23, 2012 I think that nfong's implication was otherwise. On another note; reviews say that the game constantly crashes since the update. Can anybody confirm this? nfong Well-Known Member Aug 30, 2011 1,186 1 38 #7 nfong, May 23, 2012 I was just pointing out how people pass up on a potentially good free game just because the game has IAPS. It's pretty ridiculous IMO...there really is no reason to complain before you even try out the game yourself, especially since it's free...you really have nothing to lose... Seriously though, I have plenty of games with IAP, and I would say a fair majority of 70-80% don't feel necessary. I think it's sorta unfair how IAP is always getting a bad rap because of how freemium models abuse it - but most premium apps don't. Since I'm not interested in a debate (nor am I attacking you or anything), I won't comment further. I'm going to pick this up, finally. Strangely enough, since I stopped buying games my backlog has continued to grow at the same pace.... nfong Well-Known Member Aug 30, 2011 1,186 1 38 #9 nfong, May 23, 2012 Good point, I do agree with you here. At any rate, for those of you that have the game already, are the IAPS necessary? i.e. unreasonable amount of grinding without them Card Well-Known Member Jan 12, 2012 818 6 18 Toronto Canada #10 Card, May 23, 2012 I finished the game with no IAP's, but that was before the IAP's were even implemented. I made myself a promise a while back, I will not download or buy any game that has IAP no matter how much I want the game, thus I am sticking to my promise.
