Toucharcade used to be totally amazing, but lately it's been crashing my internet explorer, and what the heck is up with the new ads? I mean, seriously? You guys are going towards the "10000000 Visitor- Click to redeem prize" ads? I thought you guys were better than that.
I'm slightly afraid I might get a virus! Please, bring it back to the way it was. I'm getting pop ups a lot, and the only site that's open is Toucharcade.

Update and run your anti virus. TA is the same, your computer probably got infected by some virusware.

There are 3 ads. One on top, two on the right. Barely disturb.

I'm on TA almost all day long. Didn't notice any popups at all. It's got something to do with your computer only. Try using another browser. Or try accessing here using your iPhone and see if you get pop ups there as well.

Ugh. Why would you want to do that? TA ads are quite subtle. There's no need to block them. Turn the ads back on. Support the site where you spent 5000+ posts :p

You say that as though TA was my reason for installing it, I've been using it for far longer than I've been here simply because on the whole internet ads are pointless and annoying. In fact I often forget Adblock even exists... occasionally I see my friend go onto something like MySpace or GameFAQs and I'm surprised at how different they look when I just naturally assumed what I see on my laptop is the way they're supposed to be.

It's too late now anyway, the clean version of TA is what I'm used to, I can't just downgrade voluntarily :)

Don't use that crashware turd. It looks as if you've got some malware or something.

Hitch, the only advertisements we run are subtle .gif banners with (generally) very little animation. If you're seeing advertisements for free credit reports, iPods, and other scammy advertisements you definitely are infected with some form of malware.

...and I've had none in 6 years without an anti-virus. Clearly viruses are not the problem here, just stupid users.

    1. Get rid of that INTERNET EXPLORER GARBAGE!
    2. Get some antivirus software.
    3. Get Firefox.
