Apple going into the console market

    If you think that the iPhone/iPod isn't a console then you're missing out on the big picture. Apple is already competing head on with all the other console providers and if you follow the money trail they're winning. The honest truth is that we no longer need ball and chain consoles. Apple will open the iPhone/iPod up to broadcast communal displays (TV-out and newer technology like built in projectors). Before you know it your iDevice will be your primary game system if it isn't already.
