There are other (better looking) clients you can use to connect to IRC, but I'm trying to keep it simple for the time being so that nobody has trouble joining. There are a bunch of programs on Windows/Mac/Linux/iOS/Android though, some free, some paid. All with different pros and cons.

I am still trying to get a hold of an old server friend of mine to startup an Invision forum site for this. I just can't find his email. Anyway, I am trying to get in touch with him via friends of friends, but so far can't find him.

Anyone have free server space for an invision forum? Thanks.

Connector, you are welcome to start your own chat server. Publicizing it (and recruiting for it) here, however, is a clear violation of the self-promotion rules at TA. Moderators will delete posts and ban people engaged in this behavior, particularly if it involves links to outside sites.
