New screenshot. This is from the level selection screen. It includes a museum view of the artist's paintings.
is there a detailed description of the game that can be read ? The game looks interesting but the lack of detail regarding game play leave me a bit hesitant .
The artwork is terrific but I'm not familiar with the stealth game you are referring to. Has development just began or was this submitted? Do you have a gameplay video?
The game came out for iPhone a pretty long while back. The original thread with video, comments etc is here... Definitely worth checking out.
It is in development and will be for a few weeks more. I'll post regular information in this thread until then.
Van Gogh's portrait of "Camille Roulin" Every painting is displayed at around 128 x 128 pixels in the game but as it is stored at 256 x 256 pixels it can be zoomed to that size by clicking on it during the game. A necessary feature to ensure you are stealing a Monet and not a Picasso. A large render of the art thief. During the game she is animated at around 100 x 200 pixels which means the animation can be fairly detailed.

Thanks for the interest. It will be submitted this month, unless "real" work takes over again. Programming games is just a wonderful hobby. I'm gathering feedback from other gamers at the moment and making some changes, for example to the controls. I want to also tweak the gameplay a bit before release as it is usually worth it.
Having it as a hobby also takes a lot of pressure off. And getting everything right before release is always worth it. Pretty embarrasing to have to pull the app right after release due to problems with the app.
Screenshots look great! The whole concept sounds interesting ( and kind of educational...) Do you have a price in mind yet?
Two masters both painted sunflowers in the latter half of 19th century. Which painting is by Vincent van Gogh and which one is by Claude Monet? Now try to do the same with lasers and guards trying to catch you and before the clock runs out and the alarm sounds. From the Museum selection screen. Picasso's African (black/noir) period. I'm following you on Twitter as DaTwilightZone just in case there are any promo codes coming up for this game (like it says in your signature...) It looks great! When is it going to be available?
