i ended up picking up nanostudio. haven't dug into it yet, but i wanted to thank you guys for your help.
I bought Noise Boxx and liked it. It does exactly what it needs to do and does it well. I tried other audio software like the iMS-20, but it is too complex for me. This app keeps it nice and direct, perfect for simple sound generation and beat boxing.

Anyone tried Synthtronica yet? Seems like a great synth, but it does'nt seem to have audio copy/paste so im not sure about gettin it, even at this low price.

Anyone know of an app that can 'grooveloop' a loop? I use Guitar tracks pro on my PC, and that lets you take a short loop wav file and stretch it out to ten minutes if you want. I find a good beat, then I make a song around it. I tried doing this in Multitrack DAW but it doesn't work. All you can do is drop the loop in the track, copy it, paste it right after the initial loop, but it never lines up in sync. You can loop the section to play over and over again, but I need to write an entire song around it. there must be an app that lets you stretch out loops as long as you want, and keep them in sync.
Chiptunes synth on iPad? Please chime in on your favorite chiptunes synthesizer (not just a player). I really love 8bitone on the iPhone, but I'm looking for an iPad app. I am aware that I can load samples into any app, but I'm interested in an all-in-one app. Thanks!
