      Does anyone know of any games like Blood Bowl? I wish there was an official release but until then what are the best alternatives?

      By "like Blood Bowl," you mean what? Board-game-like? Fantasy-based? Sports-based? Strategy-focused?

      How would I know it was a fantasy sports board game, if I was unfamiliar with it?

      There is no game on the App store that is exactly like blood bowl. If you want to list some qualities that the game has that you are looking for in other games, I'm sure you'll get an actual response from someone.

      I'm guessing he's looking for a fantasy/sports mash-up. I used to be a Blood Bowl junkie back in the day. Long live Games Workshop!

      Nothing like Blood Bowl in the App Store, but Backbreaker is pretty friggen awesome. Check it out.

      Speedball 2 <-- fun!

      This game is a lot of fun: http://appshopper.com/games/speedball-2-evolution on iPhone.

      No orks or dwarves or elves, more of a futuristic than a fantasy setting, but an amazing game. FUN!!!!

      If you get lucky, you might get it for free.

      My friends at Cyanide Studios did make an official Blood Bowl game, just not on iPhone : http://www.bloodbowl-game.com/index.php?lang=en
      It's pretty cool and it's on PC, Xbox360, PSP and DS.
      Not sure if they have plans for an iPhone version.

      Otherwise, the only thing that comes to mind is Hero Academy.
