I remember deleting this game because of the gameplay and not the retro styling. However, I'll give this another shot.

Yeah just gave it another go, has potential

The axe is frustrating, specially trying to shoot 'up'. Shame you cant have infinite axes instead of shooting and then having to find the axe to pick it up again before using it again

Just played the first five levels and I have to say its a pretty solid platformer. The buttons look small but their hotboxes are more than generous. Controls work well. My only challenge was timing the spring jumps takes a few tries to get high enough to reach the top. I bought the double jump and the game is much more fluid now. There is a purchase to have your hammer come back to you. But yeah, otherwise you have to chase it if it doesn't bounce back to you. In the fifth level I dropped it down the abyss. Ouch.
All in all this game deserves more attention. Contemplating the ads removal purchase for $2 to support the dev.
Well done, I can see a lot of time and love went into it.

If I downloaded a pixel-graphic game, and then the game updated to look like that, I don't think I would be happy.

I think it would make more sense to just make a NEW game with a different look, rather than completely changing the look of a game that you already released. That's my 2 cents.

@Glorkbot: I've discussed this a lot with my teammate lately and I think you are right. So we will do a new game out of it (Tiny Thor HD, Tiny Thor 2 or Tiny Thor Revolution )

We also revised the character:

I was just playing this.

Sooooo fun, I love this game, and I want to see more of it.

The controls are perfect and the pixel graphics are sooo cool, I love that you have to keep the button pressed to throw the hammer and that you can retrieve it.

If I may offer some minor fan suggestions that could improve this game.

-It would be cool if the levels were locked and you unlocked them by going through the game
-Have some sort of XP system to unlock abilities, and have the abilities be permanent.
-Maybe alternate costumes?
-Moaar leveels!
-Pleeeease keep the 8bit graphics.

Seriosuly man, this is great.
