Frantic is an arena wave based shooter that is played at a frenetic pace. Run, gun and jump through each wave grabbing weapons as they appear and take on the monsters like Creepers, Bugs, Boars and Spiders; each with their own abilities and attacks and complete each wave. Survive epic boss battles with gigantic foes!

Customise your weapons after each game and increase their damage and ammo capacity, even customise the power ups!

Frantic is also available for the Mac in the Mac App Store.

Iphone 6 users: I am tracking down a crash when the play button is pressed. I will issue a fix asap. Keep Frantic on your device and you will get th fix when released.

I'll post some codes a bit later and gets some more feedback.

Future versions could have a survival mode and co-op multiplayer mode is something I'd love to add. players against monsters.

Not a bad old-school arena, wave-based shooter. Sometimes when you get down to the last enemy of a wave it can be a little annoyingly hard to find (even with the radar).

But overall, if you like Doom type shooters, you'd probably like this as well.

'old-school arena, wave-based shooter' Perfect description I may have to quote that!

BTW there is a mac version in the mac app store and a free lite version. I might make the lite version for iOS too. Android/kindle versions are on hold at the moment as the controls seem to work differently on different models. Windows 8 is likely some time soon.

Here is the link for the free mac version https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/frantic-lite/id796442883?ls=1&mt=12

It's also on it's way to the MacGameStore

Great video.

I've submitted an update with an easy to kill boar.

If you find it hard use grenade or shoot its backside from above.

Also dropped the price this week to $1!

It's not awful at all, but I'd certainly wait for a sale/updates if you're interested. Apologies to the dev for my bluntness, I'll try to write a better full-length review with constructive criticisms and mention more of the pluses.
Picked it up after the fast price drop. Have to agree with you. The scrolling is pretty rough too.

By scrolling do you mean the movement? What can I do to improve the game for you? Do you think the enemies need to be slower for example?
