I think the minute we stop questioning we stop living. Questioning is one of the purpose of our existence, hence the theories but I agree, it's the internet and you'll be exposed to a bunch of theories out there which don't make any sense. But doesn't it bother you to not know what might have happened ? After all these weeks this is what the officials have to say ? We've grown leaps and bound with technology it's kind of embarrassing and frustrating to see the same technology can't be used to answer some simple and very fundamental questions like a missing plane.
But when do you stop ? Look at the moon landings, people seem to think it was all fake. Theres websites out there where people believe the earth isnt round .
9/11 is obviously the biggie. Are you honestly telling me the US government managed to do it themselves without anyone 'giving the game away' ? Bin Laden and co might have caused more damage after that terrible event if they said 'nothing to do with us' but they all admitted it was them who organised and planned it. At the end of the day no construction company can do a test to see what happens if a Boeing plane flies into a tower at great speed, they can only simulate/put numbers into a computer. No one in the world knew what exactly would happen if someone flew a plane into a major tower like that.
Theres questioning things and then theres just going OTT about something. Its a tragedy, i just feel sorry for obviously the people on board, the friends and family as well. Think its a bit sick when people are throwing crazy crap out there like 'is it Lost ?' etc. Its already been reported that those adverts for the airlines were created months and months ago, its not like some agency just created them the past week. Marketing campaigns take ages to do.
I suppose conspiracy theorists have always been there, just in the days pre-internet it was a crazy man shouting in a city centre, now these people have the internet to spread their theories all over the place.
