Though I don't understand how/why some of these games come out with little or NO marketing behind them.. Case in point, I had never even remotely heard of Majaya before your post. And it's an ingenious little game! What's the point of releasing on the App Store if not to sell? If you are going to invest in a game's development, do you not think it worthwhile to include advertising in your budget? And I doubt I'm simply just 'missing' the ads or reviews for these titles... I also scour the web for iOS releases, and have done so since the App Store's launch. So strange. Maybe they ran out of money before hitting the marketing stage. Maybe it was a labor of love; profits weren't as important. The dev might not even know this but it could be great publicity. I'm guessing it will be mostly TA members DL'ing this game. So when you look under "customers also bought", it will probably show some high profile/highly reviewed games. Though when I dl something, it should say "customers also bought the Appstore" . grzeda Member Jan 20, 2013 7 0 0 food photography... :) Warsaw #12 grzeda, Jan 22, 2013 majaya Hello to all the Users on this forum It's a great pleasure to read all these positive reviews about our game. It is our first production - it was made after work, with very limited budget but with great heart. And as it is our first application we are really pleased and proud of ourselves that we've made it. It is our first contact with iTunes and we are a bit afraid of doing something wrong or that some technical problems will occur. We are also uncertain if the users will like the game etc. The opinions from this forum are building our hopes up. We are working on making a better game trailer now and we'll try some marketing activities. For now we are watching how this whole machine works With best regards for you all, gk with the team Psiufoxx Well-Known Member May 25, 2011 421 0 16 sustainability consulting paris (yeah, the one in france) #13 Psiufoxx, Jan 22, 2013 Hi there, happy to have you join our little community here.
