No, not unless you upgrade the hell out of it. Make a Canadian account without a credit card and get the game, though it might take a while to get all the weapons.
Try them out. Everyone uses the plasma cannon, but seriously, just experiment. Your not going to be choosing between many of them at a time, their pretty different in level unlocks.
why? i find it quite useful: i kill quite a few people with it, it has no ammo and you can get to high places or pulll your self far away (ie if ur getting killed, see a health recharge and need to get there quick)
At first I thought the plasma cannon was totally overpowered, but quickly found it's so easily counterd by just strafing left and right -_- I personally use the assualt rifle and just go for head shots.
What are you talking about? I used it and went up to an unaccessible part (for everyone else) and sniped the shit out of people.
I am really interested in learning about all of the weapons as well (esp. the rocket launcher) The descriptions ngmoco gives don't really say too much I thought I would love the antimatter jet, but I hated it The gravity hook has been kinda fun to use, but I always find that I do best when I just stick to my autorifle for the entire game. It is a bit disappointing.
I believe when I versed TheCleaner, he had an antimatter jet. I actually found it didn't do much, as he only killed me 3 times if I remember correctly. It basically just shoots these black glowish balls that ricochet everywhere.
I've found that using the auto-rifle with upgraded damage does fine. It's really easy to get headshots and fires fast enough to do good damage even with poor aim. Feel free to add me. I'm Comercial9 on plus and openfeint.
Yup, that's pretty much how I would describe it. The balls move really slow so you never hit anything, they ricochet everywhere so you often end up hitting yourself, and you can only fire three rounds before reloading (which is admittedly pretty fast). Bottom line: Avoid Just to let you know, mine was completely unupgraded
Blarg, had my first encounter with a rocketlauncher. It was horrible. Imagine the plasma cannon, except you can't dodge it.......
The stats on the armor on the website (http://eliminate.ngmoco.com/) is different than the stats in game... right? haah On the site is says sniper has swim but in the game it doesnt
It was almost overpowered in my opinion, though I did only have one encounter with it, so my observations may be off. Maybe I should have jumped whenever it was shot at me, I'm not sure, I will need more experience against it to formulate a proper counter.
