The artwork is pretty and the animation is mostly very good (there are a couple of pauses in the transition from walking to crawling that mar the appearance of the game). Also, jumping appears to be a little inconsistent (although I am glad to see that there are no in air momentum changes). I deducted one star because without some sort of instructions or visual clues as to when the 'baddies" will appear the game is more about guessing what to do and replaying the levels until I have memorized where all the bad guys are. That is the type of game that may appeal to other people but it is not really my thing but I will eventually finish it. Also note that the action is not frenetic, it is actually somewhat relaxing to play! Lastly, if you were expecting a story, good luck. The only story element that I could find is that the dad needs to find his way out and it helps to free the hedgehogs from their cages (I think). Lots of little baddies to hit with a stick. Lots of apples to eat, but no reason to do so other than high scores.
