Hello all, just to clear up, this director's cut version is currently in soft launch and will be switched to free in January. You guys are just so darn observational!

To clear up, we were not going to be conducting a soft launch phase and were going to release the game for free from the off in January, but our publishing partner has requested three weeks of testing.

Please do not buy the game until it is free .

Uhm... Ok. I made the mistake of buying this, certainly wouldn't have had I known this is supposed to be free. So I basically have paid to be a beta tester for a game that is to be released for free? That's messed up...

This info needs to be in the description. Gonna request a refund ASAP just on principle...

In what universe does this seem like a good idea? I can't even fathom why your publishing partner would ask for that arrangement or why you'd think anyone who pays for the game and then finds this out wouldn't be really, really pissed.

I played the heck out of this game on DSiWare... but ultimately the realtime grind of it wore on me though I did finish it. I wish I wasn't limited to 1 payment a week. More than that, I wish there was something to do in the game after paying the dude off. Maybe the GC achievments are good? Whatever the case, I look forward to getting this free in January. It was a pain watching Sanuku's video. I have that map still burned into my memory (along with much of the music). I like how he avoided driving over the bushes in that one point.

SimonTag, can you comment on if the real-time week deal is a part of this version? Is CJS2 coming in... 2013?

The sad thing to me is all the social stuff they wanted in CJS2. I was so hyped for more CJS after having fun with the first one and that's really when I started looking at iOS as a possible next platform for my handheld gaming experiences.

I take it TagGames in in the process of a reboot. I notice the forums were wiped clean over there (they used to have some good content) and all the old games seem to be off the appstore. I wish them luck.
