There's been a bunch of articles by TA about how mobile will overtake consoles. Ok, I don't think so but let's say it will. The problem, to me, is that mobile is still not treated well enough and is filled to the brim with utter trash, exploitative games, and quality premium games have no coverage. I'm not saying free to play or freemium is bad, but it shouldn't be the only way for developers to make money. Or maybe it is and I'm just one of those crotchety old men who are stuck in the old ways. I just think that if Apple or google or whoever really want mobile gaming to take off, they need to do a heck of a better job at promoting games, denying all the crap that gets on the App Store and trying to go for hardcore AND casual players, not just casual.
I think the future should be platforms endings. Imagine playing your favorite game wherever you want...
