Now, I agree with the rest of you folks, the amount of cloned apps in the AppStore is absolutely absurd. It truly is; however, as I was thinking about it the other day, isn't this true for real physical products, basically since the creation of science? People have been stealing others' ideas, cloning them, and making profits since forever! If any of you are familiar with Engadget, I recall (as I haven't visited their as often as I previously had) them having an entire section devoted to cloned devices called KIRF; meaning "Keeping It Real Fake." Many of these devices came from China (not being racist, this is simply where they came from), and tricked poor people who would buy gifts and didn't know the difference, as well as other such ways of profiting from stolen ideas. I remember fake iPhones, PSP's, Mac's, iPads, and anything else you can think of! So my point is, as much as we all disagree with it, and believe that it SHOULD be controlled; I guess Apple must see things the way I just explained, and perhaps THAT is why they do the things they do.
Food for thought.
