I have no ETA, but the game is 100% done and approved by apple. If I had to guess, I would say March 10-15 timeframe. It's my fault for not engaging PR earlier in the process.
@Retro64: Way to go on the front page article and the fantastic new trailer! I am glad to see that you are ensuring there is some marketing before this game gets released so it has the best shot of getting the attention it richly deserves. The trailer is exciting enough to make me look forward to playing through the entire campaign again with the release version. Good luck!
Oh my, push the button, take my money, but release it! It is done, approved, looks fantastic and I am throwing my hard earned bucks at you! You're giving us really a hard time waiting (yes, I understand why we're having to wait - but you're teasing us like hell in here!). You should show a bit more mercy to us poor adicts. *sits in the corner and pouts*
Everyone is entitled to their own preferences, but I think this is a terrible suggestion for developers. The most successful games are those that draw people in for as long as they choose to stay engaged (Angry Birds...). It's not that much harder to make a good concept go on and on. Why would you choose to cut it short?
I've really been looking forward to this one coming out, and I'm definitely for as much game as devs can stuff in, especially when it looks as good as this does. Definitely hoping to see it (and play it a lot) this coming week!
Ps tried to read through this discussion but didn't find any info... Will this be for iPhone and iPad? And will it be universal?? And is there some sort of server or iCloud for maintaining a progress sync if you have both devices? Thanks.
