I'm curious to hear impressions about Strange Oracle. MmzTech has some strong games in their catalog.

Not everyone speaks English as a first language, the game could be both amazing AND written by a non fluent English speaker.

(I understand your concern though, really)

I'm sure it's just an intended pun to blend in with the horror theme

Just paid for this. Very disappointed. It's like "in fear we trust" all over again. Will be getting a refund as soon as possible as nothing seems to work. What is it with devs not testing their games properly at the moment?! When the game loads up you are treated to an ultra Lo Lo Lo-res text introduction which would be hard enough to read even if it wasn't also written in poorly stilted, corny and grammatically wrong Engrish. Up pops the title screen and that's the only thing that looks nice. Another click and the game starts. I don't have much patience with games that don't set the scene or give a clear objective. You are plonked in a corridor with doors leading off and no clue as to why you are there. Random pixel clicking reveals only one room that you can look around. The interface is crap. An eye, a satchel, a notebook, a perplexingly greyed out torch (which you can't select) and a swirly arrow thing, which doesn't seem to be interact but I'm not sure what it is. A hand icon wouldn't go amiss. I haven't really the patience to figure it all out as the graphics are a bit ugly but I did spend many fruitless minutes of random pixel clicking and toying with the annoying, possibly bugged interface before losing patience. The satchel brings up a dozen or so grey spaces and the notebook brings up a blank notebook. Two thumbs down from me

This seems like and even the title of their other game "Bloody Mary Ghost Adventure" all over again.

It even looks similar in interface and colours.

I deleted Bloody Mary as a year went by with no as promised update. The Facebook page disappeared after countless requests from purchasers complaining about the final chapter release date.

Reading posts about typos or glitches only makes me wonder how these games from this dev get accepted on the store.

I see that "Mary" isn't in their game list. Odd?

I'm not saying don't get this game just be cautious especially if you get through it and it's chapter 1 and if it's like "Mary" then expect what James Cameron mentioned a few posts above.

Sorry but these devs need to start testing properly and doing decent game play/aesthetic work.
