Elder Towers - Deck-building 3rd-Person RTS

I find it hard to categorize the game. It's a hybrid between TCG and RTS and RPG, I guess. The overall framework is that of a free-roaming RPG: you explore the world, do quests, level up, find artifacts and treasures, learn new spells and new feats. The battle mechanism is like RTS, but in 3rd-person view, and built upon TCG concepts.

  • - Free-roaming single-player campaign
  • - Multiplayer duel
  • - 160 different spells (more will be added in future updates)
  • - 104 different summoned units (more may be added in future updates)
  • - 3 character classes with powerful class-specific feats
  • - Fast-paced gameplay designed for 5~10 minute matches
  • - No In-App Purchase lottery -- All spells and items are earned through normal gameplay (the Kickstarter backer rewards would be the only exception)
  • - No recurring nerf / buff cycles -- Meta-game environment will be remedied with addition of new spells and summons, instead of changes on existing content
  • - Updates of new spells every 2~3 months

This looks really awesome! Can I make one small suggestion? Regarding the classes listed on your web page:

Nuker - Specialized in casting spells. May learn some Wizard feats.
Summoner - Specialized in strengthening summons. May learn some Wizard feats.
Wizard - Balanced between spells and summons. May learn some Nuker feats and Summoner feats

I don't think that "Nuker" is a good name for that class. I think "Elementalist" would be a better name. But that's just my opinion.

As the game is still work in progress, the naming as well as many other elements are not yet finalized

hopefully we can get a few different avatars for the different classes, and name them more appropriately

Since i've been told that some interested gamers are somewhat confused how the game actually plays, i decided to put up a playable preview demo (require Unity Web Player plugin):


it includes the basic tutorials and a practice battle level
