Hey Guys, We added a second server to the site overnight. Performance on the site has been a little spotty the past week, related to increasing site popularity and forum use. We are now running across 2 servers with a dedicated PHP and MySQL server. It may take a day or so before everyone is on the new server due to the nature of the DNS propagation. We still have to do some tweaking over the next few days, but hopefully, everything will feel much more responsive. arn
Looks like the forums got Eliminated. Seriously, if there was a way to find out how many new members a single game got TA then Eliminate will be right on top IMO. Thanks for the new servers. Hopefully now TA will be able to cope up with all the new traffic
I saw some javascript issues when posting, and they showed a screen which told me I'll be brought to my post. It's fixed today.
TA has actually lost 500 active members in the last few weeks. 10/22 Threads: 26,893, Posts: 569,606, Members: 30,000, Active Members: 8,200 11/10 Threads: 28,885, Posts: 617,763, Members: 31,655, Active Members: 7,685 It appears more new members signed up because of Alchemize.
But it also means they didn't stay as the active members count has gone down. Members who joined TA for Eliminate seem to be spending a lot more time here.
