    Hello everyone,

I'm the developer of Syder Arcade, an old school 8bit style shoot'em'up who will be released next month on the app store, for iPad only (mainly iPad2, we are trying to port it to iPad1).

The game is inspired to old classics games, like Uridium, but with some 3d twist.
    Key features are:
    • Classic side scroller gameplay with a couple of new tricks
    • 7 chellenging levels full of enemies, traps and deadly bosses
    • Missiles, rockets, explosions and a bucket full of powerups
    • 3 different starships to unlock, and some secret stuff too
    • Selectable Graphic mode: Modern, c64, Amiga, EGA, Apple II, VGA 256!
    • Achivements and online high scores!

    Here some schreenshots:

    Hi there!
First of all - an option to switch the controls (left/right).
Secondly, thought it's just my personal opinion, I'd suggest you to go with one graphics set. Every time I see an option to change the graphics pack in the game, I get the feeling like the devs couldn't come out with one decent enough style, so they try to make up for that with quantity (which, when it comes to graphics, is far less important than quality). Polish the one style you think fits best this game and just go with it.
Other than that the features seem pretty decent. I'm curious about those new tricks.

    Hi.
    thanks for the feedback.

Good Idea for the controls. We will absolutly include this option.

About the graphics set, I must say I can see some truth in your opinion. Actually our graphics set depends on the fact that the game is in full 3d (with lights effects and so on) and we use a post-effect to pixelize it, so we can choose from a nice set of palettes/resolutions. By the way, I think we have to select a small and nice graphics set that perfectly suits the game.

I will post here some infos about the tricks when we can unveil it!

Again, thanks for your opinion :D
