UPDATE: Compression has just been approved! Will make an official announcement when it shows up on the store! Coming soon from the creators of TanZen and Zentomino! Tired of the typical match three games? Want something with a little more attitude? Compression brings the game to the next level, with danger coming at you from all directions! The goal is simple. Remove all the hollow pieces from the game board before you run out of space. But can you do it before the walls close in on you? After every 3rd dropped piece, a wall will move inward, compressing your game board, and causing pieces to shift. Will it be the wall on the left, right, or bottom? When will it happen? Learn the pattern to master the game! Features: - OpenFeint enabled - Online global scoreboards - Unlimited levels - Achievements - A different game every time, with randomly generated levels - Progress is always saved - Music and sound effects by Atomicon Compression is currently in review with Apple, and will be available for $0.99! A few screenshots: Apologies for the video quality. Grid was causing havok with focus.
its LWB which mean an instant purchase, and i like the twist on it, plus its a nice change of direction from your zen games nicely done
Thanks, idrisguitar! Yes, we wanted to go in a completely different direction on this one. Something fast, furious, and competitive!
Another board/puzzle game, naturally Gotta love the theme. A dirty, concrete, metallic look. In the immortal words of Borat, "Eh-very nize!!!".
Whoops! Added it. It will be available for $0.99. Hopefully we can convert you over to the dark side!
I like the grungy look a lot, in fact I'm actually using with a similar style in the game I'm working on. I've gotta say my favourite part is the sound design. Seriously, it's absolutely sick. The reverb+echo on all the sound effects works so well.
Thanks! Yeah, I had an urge to do a grunge/industrial/steampunk theme, and went crazy with the art and animation. Atomicon did the music and sound, capturing exactly the vibe we asked for. They really added a whole new dimension to the theme. And thanks for the RT on Twitter!
