To Dev:

When you decide to update the game to single player can you also make it to where we dont need to be on the internet? that is such a inconvenience to always have to be online to play......

It has the typical choose three powerups before this round, and hooray you can also buy virtual coins to get more powerups.

Verdict: uninspired
Yeah. Disappointing indeed. I usually just suck up the buck and move on because, well, it's a buck... But when I'm excited about a game and its that meh, that's a disappointment.

There should be a full fledged single player here. It's in the description, simple as that. If something that major slips through the cracks and you don't have the intent or ever actually planned on doing a single player mode, then that doesn't say much about the situation as a whole. Someone had to write the copy, someone had to (or maybe didn't have to) read the copy and then someone had to hit the upload button.

It's a huge oversight.

That's disappointing, because this game looks really cool. Here's hoping they patch it, but soon... before we all forget about it.
Yeah just forcing in the single player mode like they're saying they have done isn't going to cut it. The gameplay on its own, even against other people, was FAR from compelling.

I don't want to be rushed in a game I'm playing. I usually do it where I'm distracted regularly, and while I understand the reasoning behind why this is the way it is, there's still nothing else here to make this compelling enough to come back to. It's not different or exciting enough even for a dollar.

And this whole pay for power ups? How is this even a thing? Remind me how this betters anyone's situation? Should we let people have the option to exchange extra times in scrabble because they gave a few more dollars than the other person? Being able to enhance how you play a game against others by paying money breaks a game. When you play a person online it should be skill v skill. Let us have the same options and see who picks the better combo. But to give another person the edge because they throw money at a game is mind boggling. The act itself and how popular it's become.

I bought the game while it still had the original solo/AI description in the app store. Really disappointed and reviewed it as such.

Tacking on single player as an afterthought -- it's sad, but I don't think some gamers get it anymore (or devs). Without local highscores, or leader boards/gamecenter integration... blah.

This game was designed from the ground up to accomplish one thing -- sell virtual coins. Not for fun, but to get you to buy powerups.

I'm done with 99¢ impulse buys.
