$4.99 seems like a pretty decent price for this game. Do you think it's worth buying now or should I wait for a price drop? Also, is there any chance the price could go up?
Considering GTA: Chinatown Wars are priced double then GTA: 3, I would say there is a high possibility that the price-tag could go up. Besides, you can't beat the current classic like GTA: 3, especially at such a low price.
I believe this is an intro price so expect it to go up. I grabbed it last night. Another thing - how long did it take CW to go on offer. At least a year I believe so you will be waiting a while.
Should I get it at this price and keep it in storage til I get a current gen device?! And regard to CW, it went on sale for Chinese New Year
Dude.... its 5 bucks. You spend close to double that just going out and getting fast food. Just buy it.
It's going on sale for $0.99 tomorrow... sigh.... why do people keep asking for a pricedrop if it just hit the stores abour 12 hours ago..
If you own a $300-$600 device and are always doubtful of spending $5 on a game that looks good, there's something wrong. If you knew for certain its going on sale (EA and Gameloft games) then I would wait, but $5 for a universal map + GTA III made by Rockstar? Just get it.
$5 for a brilliant game that blows the shit out of nearly everything in the app store? Buy it NOW before the price increases, waiting is a bad idea.
I absolutely agree. This is exactly the attitude I hate with the App Store is why I very rarely post on this website.
Ding ding ding, we have a winner! Man I wish more people would realize how much work goes into these games, and that asking for $5 is a <censored> steal!
I bought it yesterday at $4.99. As someone else said, I believe that's an intro price. Even so, it's well worth the $4.99. Buy it unless $4.99 is a hardship for you (and I mean that sincerely). --DotComCTO
Are you crazy? What's the hold up? I paid $10 for Chinatown wars and that was IMO a half and half port. Half DS, half PSP and no audible speech. This is the real deal. I know it's rough when you are used to the $0.99 specials but I think pricing on this game will only go up.
