Hi all, I’m Soun, a delevoper at Picsoft Studios. Previously, we developed a Tower Defense Game called Tiny Defense. I’m posting here to let you guys know that we’re releasing our latest game next week (July 19) under the name “Guardian Sword”. Guardian Sword is a Strategy Puzzle RPG game that we’ve developed for 2 years. Our team got an inspiration from Zelda and Castlevania as well as the Materia systems from Final Fantasy 7. We came up with an idea “What if we put their charm together?” and BOOM!! It became an all new Puzzle RPG with Classic RPG charm and unique gameplay that fully customizable. The Core Mechanics is an adventure to gather items and solve puzzles like Zelda and Castlevania. When you meet enemies, it will change to battle screen as Puzzle RPG. Highlight is the Puzzle systems that allow the players to customize the puzzles by themselves (that is similar to Materia systems concept but we apply it in different ways) so, of course, you can devise your strategy in various ways as you wish. If you like Puzzle RPG that is all new and a simple yet very strategizing gameplay, we think you'll love “Guardian Sword”. This sounds awesome, I'm so glad to hear it's not another fremium game. The gameplay sounds like there's actually a lot of depth to this simple kind of game. It looks like there is a pet system too that's not mentioned?
Yes. There are IAPs but just for anyone who needs them. The game is well balanced. You can completely finish the game without purchasing any IAPs.
