As you process though the levels you open new areas and also features in your base from researching you parts to making them same parts yourself machine shops. When it comes to the battlefield you can control your mechs yourself or let your pilots take charge and of course the better the pilot the better they perform at combat. Playing this game so far reminds me of playing a game of Mechwarrior RPG deffo worth checking out.
