Hi, I'm Luke from Ruma Studios and I'm very pleased to announce our latest title Zombitsu!

So, I'm a fan of runners. Especially those of the 3D variety, and what we set out to do was to evolve the genre. Zombitsu uses a 3d endless runner mechanic as it's core but upon that builds a combat system (inspired by Castle Crashers!), adds free roaming to choose your own path and places the focus on exploration and players combat skill, not how far they can run...

The game is set in ancient japan, yup, you're a Ninja (actually a practitioner of Zombitsu) who has set out to rid his lands of the Evil Lord Nakatomi and his undead warriors (aka Zombies).

Throughout the game you complete increasingly more difficult missions to unlock new skills, powers and weapons to defeat your foes...

Zombitsu will be released on the 7th of November 2013! Hope your guys dig it!

This looks really cool! The only thing that bothers me in the trailer is the ninjazombies animation in flight after he jumps. He just stands still in the air. Wouldn't a ninja do some epic motion or flight stance for the sake of aerodynamics :p?

Absolutely free with IAP. However you can play through the entire game without spending a cent and still unlock all of the goodies (they are rewarded via missions)!

Quite true, perhaps I'll have to rewatch some epic fight/flight scenes in Naruto to get some ideas :)

Genre evolving is great, you just shouldn't get too far with it :)

This reminds me of one of my favorite iOS game ever, Blood Roofs.

Really looking forward to this. Cant wait!

Most def, it's all about incremental improvement and not forgetting where you've evolved from so players can still just pick up and play!

Wow, this looks really awesome. Insta-download! Almost ignored it, cause it was another runner, but I'm glade I checked out the trailer

But a zombie katana slicing with no glib or blood? Any chance we could get some slice-and-dice action as IAP or something, or added? Not really necessary but it would be cool

The trailer looks terrific! It also reminds me of Blood Roofs, but looks like you improved the perspective a bit. I am looking forward to playing it!

Was thinking the same thing. Maybe not the art style so much, but, hey, anything in the same vein is pretty much an instabuy for me.

And hey, it's one of my all time favorites as well. Admittedly, it's not for everyone but I've played it numerous times and hope for a sequel some day.

No gibs, yet :) We do have plans to add gibs reminiscent of the Quake grenade/rocket hits for the explosive power-ups. And also the ability to decapitate zombies when using the 360 chop skill and the strength boost power-up!!

That and a liittle bit more detailing in animations may help improve the overall look. Like even when hes in air, everything is static - his clothes, hairs, etc. Also, when landing it just slides for a while. Hope it helps!

    Interesting gameplay, btw =)

I see this is already on Google Play, but not in the US. Guess that's just a soft release on Android?

Yup, we've been in soft release on Android for a little while just in a few countries...

The worldwide release for iOS and Android will be out in less than 10 hours though :p
