ImNoSuperMan Well-Known Member Jun 28, 2009 10,506 19 0 #6 ImNoSuperMan, Sep 7, 2010 Ya, iTunes ratings are missing right now. Cant say for sure but something tells me that the devs are active on these forums and will consider all the requested features Sainter Well-Known Member Dec 8, 2008 1,175 6 0 #7 Sainter, Sep 7, 2010 This app is too expensive. HAHA! it's funny cus appsniper costs money mlkaufman Well-Known Member Apr 24, 2009 1,750 0 0 Chicago #11 mlkaufman, Sep 7, 2010 Its funny you should say that, because the first thing I did after I downloaded this app was to email the developer and ask him to do a premium version (or add DLC) with no ads. I would certainly pay for that. So to my mind, this app is not expensive enough. Burton Well-Known Member Feb 11, 2009 1,249 2 0 Canada #12 Burton, Sep 7, 2010 On my iPod it displays everything as "4 weeks ago" instead of like "6 hours ago". I realized that this was because the date on my iPod was set to October 7th, but as soon as I change it to September 7th it goes back to October....anyone know why? s-tan Member Sep 6, 2010 14 0 0 #13 s-tan, Sep 7, 2010 Cool app, thanks for the info 'Jeep Well-Known Member Dec 19, 2008 1,395 1 0 U.K. #14 'Jeep, Sep 7, 2010 Great app. It took a while trying before it accepted my user name, but it was well worth trying a dozen times. The lack of screen real estate is a small price to pay but it would be nice if they considered a premium version. For $free it is a bargain as it is. Sorry Burton, no clue why your ipod is stuck in the future. An app interfering? o0Autumn0o Well-Known Member Apr 2, 2010 80 0 0 Accountant Sheffield #15 o0Autumn0o, Sep 7, 2010 Can you change the currency? starjimstar Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2008 2,799 1 0 Entrepreneur Canada #16 starjimstar, Sep 8, 2010 Pretty bare bones. It took 2 years to make this? The first thing I noticed is that I can't set alert notifications for future releases. I want to be the first to know when Gyromaniac hits the store. Also; No push notifications, period Limited to the US App Store Limited to US currency Plus, many more missing features @mlkaufman: I don't see any ads. What am I doing wrong? ImNoSuperMan Well-Known Member Jun 28, 2009 10,506 19 0 #17 ImNoSuperMan, Sep 8, 2010 Which other app/website provide you that option? How can you select an app to be alerted about when it doesnt even exist in appstore yet? There are a few ways it might work (though only for popular upcoming apps maybe), but thats not going be a simple thing to implement. But then, appshopper and appinfo combo was something I never imagined will be possible, so this might might be implemented sometime too but definitely not in the near future. Its coming in an update soon. I personally hate then though. An app going free is not really the highest priority for me, so I prefer the appshopper emails over push notifs anyways. Thats something not entirely unexpected considering appshopper is US only too. Not really a major bummer either. US store works more than fine for me. List them here. Something tells me that devs are active on these forums. Not sure though They take upto a minute to popup. You'll see them for sure. starjimstar Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2008 2,799 1 0 Entrepreneur Canada #18 starjimstar, Sep 8, 2010 The AppShopper website can do it in combination with a feed reader. I search for keywords and plug the resulting RSS feed (for example, feed://appshopper.com/feed/search/?search=gyromaniac) into a reader with push notifications. Easy. Why can't the official app do this? Then choose to not receive push notifications and choose the US App Store. Your problem is solved. It is a significant oversight, however. PandoraBox offers these optional features at no cost. If there really are ads, you can throw that on the pile of deterrents. Thank you for the clarification. xStatiCa Well-Known Member Aug 4, 2009 590 0 16 #19 xStatiCa, Sep 8, 2010 Needs buttons for own it, want it, and rating right on the main listing page. Right now none of that is available at all. I tried using it but without those 2 features I had to go back to using the website. I am sure an update will eventually have those features.
