But how good was the connection? Where you on Wi-Fi,Edge,3G? I'm going to get the lite version of X2 and try it out.
I was on a wi-fi connection and in some cases, literally sitting next to my DSL line to see if it would improve.
Well I played it with my iPhone about 20cm away from my router and it was still far too laggy and completely unplayable. And judging from the forum posts, everyone is having the same problem. Hopfully FIFA 10 will have online MP and it won't lag.
Oh ok. Well I just found out that FIFA will have local online multiplayer (on the same router) but not wordwide. The online multipler in RS10 is world-wide like on a server? Right.
Well X2 doesn't have online... or WiFi multiplayer, in fact it doesn't have multiplayer. And FIFA was confirmed that it doesn't have Online play, just WiFi... So I say FIFA in 9 days. EDIT: u already know that :/
RS 10 does have online multiplayer (worldwide) but to be honest, it's really not worth it at the moment. They may as well just remove it. It's just completely unplayable. So, I ignore the fact that it has online MP (because as far as I'm concerned, it doesn't) and I just played the singleplayer, that was terrible too. I deleted the app literally within minutes of downloading it. Just get X2 football - the graphics are far better, the controls work far better, the gameplay/smoothness is far better and it has a really nice replay feature that lets you save your replays. So If I were you, I'd either just buy X2 Football now, or I'd wait for FIFA 10 and try to find out which one is better, and buy the best. Just don't touch RS 10. And also, there is a lite version of X2 Football you can try. EDIT - Ooops, you bought it while I was typing! Oh well :/
Well as long as the multiplayer is decent I dont care.. Played the lite version of X2 and the controls didn't do to good for me. FIFA looks ok I'm going to get that too (I'll have RS09,RS10,then FIFA). But I wanted something with online multiplayer so that's why I got RS10

Like I've said many times before, if you are a genuine football lover, then go with X2 Football 2009 for its realism. If you're not really a big fan of football, then go with RF2010.
