I'm trying to remember a game that someone on here was advertising. It was a very old-school kind of game, and the developer was saying that they put their heart and soul into making this game, and it was an homage to an old NES game they had very fond memories of. For some reason, when I think Hook Champ and I Dig It, this game was triggered in my memory. I can't, for the life of me, remember what game this is, though. Anyone have an idea of what I'm talking about?
I have no idea, but here are some wild guesses Squareball Jetman Jack Crystal Cave Classic Archibalds Adventures Yeah, sorry couldn't be of much help
None of the games mentioned so far are it. I think the game looked kind of similar to Solomon's Key, but not really. iNetHack and Crystal Cave look like they could be similar to it. I can't be sure, though. I am pretty sure the color hue was mostly brown. I think it was set in a cave or a dungeon. Again, could be wrong, though.
Ricky? http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?threadid=36774 oops I posted this before I read the above description. Good luck finding it!
I'm pretty sure it's this game (ignore the icon): http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/gopher-2-part-1-retrospective/id329515948?mt=8 It was a boulder dash clone, that needed a name change and graphics change? Or maybe your just thinking of Boulder Dash: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id315133385?mt=8
Haha, yeah I don't think I would have ever thought of the name Gopher. I knew it was a simple name, a simple game, but I couldn't remember anything at all other than those measly details I said. Man... it's sad that it looks like it's not doing so well sales-wise It's been out for a while and there still isn't an aggregated rating for it.
