Wooords - (by Stray Robot Games) [Update 1.2 - 30 New Puzzles and more!]

Quick question. Am I supposed to be able to make racial slurs that count as words in the game?

I ask because I was building the word spice and before I added the e it accepted the word **** (just drop the e in spice). I looked the word up to see if it had a non offensive meaning but as far as I can tell it doesn't.

I'm personally not offended by that word but I'm sure there are people that would be.

Hi, thanks for the feedback everyone.

blueknight1st, good question, we made the decision during development to not censor any words that can be found in the dictionary. I did have my reservations when we almost used screenshots with the 'c-bomb' featuring in the wordlist.

If there's sufficient demand we are open to considering alternate versions or censored versions of the game... It wouldn't exactly hurt the gameplay...

i love this game, but there is one point i can't understand.
why can't i play in landscape-mode? building words would be way easier, cause of the more space you have.
the same on the ipad. i have THIS space, but can't use it

PS: i welcome a german dictionary :P and maybe retina

Pleased to hear you're enjoying the game so much! Landscape support is being worked on and will be included in the multiplayer content update.

We're still looking into doing translations (German, Spanish and Italian), we're not committing to anything just yet, but they will most likely happen after the multiplayer update.

This update includes the much requested landscape mode support (in game) and we also added twitter integration to help you annoy/taunt your friends. You'll also find a bunch of graphical improvements which will enhance your pleasure.

Can someone please tell me what the criteria is for the 'Quick Words 2' achievement? I've tried a bunch of things and nothing has worked so far.

After much time and space... Wooords 1.4 has been released.

I still don't see any landscape support....or am i missing something.

Hi, landscape is supported in game. The front end menus are still portrait though.

Make sure you're on the latest version too, 1.5.3. There was a bug in 1.5.2 which prevented rotation on some devices.

Let me know if you have any troubles after that and we can investigate for you.
