Putting more than 176 apps on a (jailbroken) iPod Touch 3G
Hey, fellow iTouch/Phone gamers. I'm new here; and I made an account on these forums specifically to ask this question, which I have been wanting to ask for quite a while:
Is there ANY way to put more than 176 apps on a jailbroken iPod Touch?
I got a 3G for Christmas, and jailbroke it because my app collection is growing exponentially (I spend 75 bucks a weeks on games

) and I wanted to be able to store all 217 of my apps on one device.
I have not been able to figure out how to expand my iTouch's app-storing capabilities. Is there a certain app/mod for this? I've already gotten Cydia and Winterboard; I'd love it if someone would refer me to a good organizing app.
Would someone mind taking to time to help me out?

I don't know if there's any limit, but Categories allows you to make folders. Look it up on Cydia.
Oh, and even if there's no limit... don't push your luck

Schweet. I saw a "folder-making" app in one of those "5 Best Jailbroken Apps Lists", but forgot the name. Thanks!
In the meantime, does anyone know any apps that
definitely can do this? I only get to use Wi-Fi like once a week; I'm hoping Categories won't dissapoint me.
Thanks Median!!

Oh, Categories isn't availible for 3.1.2?? That sucks! I'll try Spotlight in the meantime though.
And when you say "it won't its a great app" do you mean that it will not disappoint me? I'm hoping so!

Categories works fine on 3.1.2, I'm on it.

There is SBOrganizer, which allows you to have as many pages of apps as you want (I have 20 currently). It is 99¢ in Cydia.

I have an 8GB jailbroken second gen with 312 apps on it.
The trick is to have a big root partition.
So I'm sure you could fit around 534 on a 32 3rd gen.
