Once again, finding the cool games.

So are there any catches? Ads, etc.?

I love having Pete, he does all the trudging if the app stores and I have more time to play thanks to him.

There's a 69p IAP to remove ads and support the devs but if I'm truly honest, I haven't noticed a single ad. It could be down to the nature of the high difficulty courses drawing my full focus though. Advanced level packs can be unlocked early for a fee but they're unlocked for free if you complete the prior levels so not really an issue.

Very old school, asteroids-style racing game with a high difficulty. User generated content is a very nice thing to see though I've yet to get into that area

Edit: just seen that they've snuck a rude word into the screenshots lol. Easily amused!

I love being here, this site is amazing! I'm obsessed with lists and organising so trawling the AppStore is actually enjoyable to me. I just hope I'm not stepping on Sanuku's toes etc.

On topic, I've tried the user-generated content and there's some really nice stuff on there. Such a shame you need a Mac to make your own levels but I can totally understand why. I've not played Super Obstacle Boy yet but this is my GotW pick ATM, I'm loving that adrenaline-fuelled rage you get when you fail a level and instantly dive back in to take it on again. It's definitely one of those games!

It looks like it could be short but the aforementioned user content should help there. Besides, it's potentially free depending on how you play/spend.

When I saw the screenshots, I had hoped this would be like the Commodore 64 classic "Thrust", with gravity. But Asteroids-like will do

It could well be reminiscent of Thrust, I just went with the easy well-known comparison. I also just slightly missed the real golden age era of gaming so my pool of examples is pretty shallow.

Anyway, still enjoying this though it looks like I may be the only one haha. Finished the Hard series despite cursing my way through the fourth track, Expert will have to wait til my nerves have recovered!
