It would be nice to ride the epoch once more, travel the end of time and kill Lavos.

    This is awesome news.

The trailer for Diffusion Million Arthur on the IGN article looks quite promising as well, even without gameplay.

My favorite RPG comes back again. For a time traveling game, its ironic how it literally keeps coming back lol, its like a video game time capsule! Man I love chrono trigger! Definitely playing it again for iOS

I played and beat this game at least 20 times over my 33 years of life and I still plan on buying this the day it comes out, which hopefully is December.

Happy Holidays! (...and with this there will hopefully be a FF3/FFT sale).

I'm trying to remember all the multiple endings, I wish there was a spoiler free guide.

    ^This Pretty much sums it.

Let me just add that, besides being one of the best RPGs of all time, it is also one of the most accessible JRPGs ever -- a great place to start for those new to the subgenre. No random encounters, deep-yet-understandable combat system, narrative driven but open in design, a comprehensible story, and most important, great characters that are easy to relate to (Frog and Robo are easily two of my favorite characters in all of gaming.)

    This is awesome news.

Sorry for the bump, but I keep deleting new threads made by folks who didn't notice this one...

Barf. What's with the system default type font? Why cant they recreate the font and text boxes of the original?

Because, besides nostalgia value, they add nothing to the gameplay or aesthetics.

Except it looks terrible. The entire game is 16 bit sprite based graphics, and the system default type font just looks bad. The text boxes and the game graphics really clash from looking at the screenshots.

Also, nostalgia value is the main reason lots of people will want to play this game.
