New and Noteworthy & Hot List Preview/Test Screens?

This may sound a bit odd, but this morning I saw new games in both New and Noteworthy & Hot Lists in several categories. However perhaps 10 minutes later they all went back to their current state.

I happened to grab a few screen shots of them and the screen shots I have feature games released in the past week that were/are not in current New/Hot Lists.

Does anyone know if Apple sets these up for pre-production early in a week, throws them up to make sure they didn't completely botch it up, then take down?

I'd post the screen caps but I really don't want to set any Dev up for elation only to be followed but huge disappointment because it was some weird itunes store glitch.

More likely a caching issue with iTunes?
