Stick with Strong Armored planes. Cluster Bombs and Triple-shot are good, avoid using lasers, stay high in the sky. Also, if you see a life, get it. Hope this can help!

 

I agree, but disagree.
Get the sniper (i think) plane. Cluster bomb, fast, and strong armoured. Fly low and cluster bomb everything above you. Just be careful of being shot by the ground attackers

 

I found the game mostly easy .. but got my butt served to me on a platter by that level too! I used the Red Herring to beat it. People told me sniper, but I had no idea how to get that thing. I found homing missiles work really well and the Red Herring was fast enough to evade things, but not too fast where I couldn't control the plane.

 

3rd row cluster bomb plane (3rd from right) click on the silhouette image of it and it will say how to earn it

 

which ones are the cluster bomb ones? I'm looking for good planes, too

 

Its like that plane shaped like a trident- in the third to last column of planes

The planes in the third from the right row (in the Trident's row) they 1 hit kill anything you get directly under
