You have NEVER seen a version of Castle Smasher like this! The video preview of the upcoming Castle Smasher v2.00 is just in: [HQYOUTUBE]6Xa3U0FOUh0[/HQYOUTUBE] What's new? 3 Game Modes (instead of 1) 50 Levels added (taking advantage of the 3-star ranking system) New boulder types New enemies (tribes with different abilities) New bonus items New buildings New sounds & music Reworked physics Bonus Game added: "Target Practice" And LOTS of other all-new features... And best off all... since we upped the version of the original app to 2.00 instead of releasing all this as a sequel / new product, everyone who has bought the original will automatically get all the new goodies for free! This is the BIGGEST update ever released by Donut Games so far (and no, we're not the kind of dev that is saying this all the time) Cheers, Daniel Zandelin - Team Donut Games
I think I'm in love. Great pixelart, DG This news made me want to take a look at Your portfolio in the AppStore!
Looks fantastic. I liked the other version but this looks like it offers a ton more. Submitted or in review yet?
Does this mode include all of the new weapons/twists or is it a really streamlined/simplified spin-off?
The bonus game plays different than the other modes. It's not about "mass destruction" so the new weapons would not be suitable. A couple of new items are in there instead, such as the extremely bouncy hay bale.
Am I missing something, Is this just a great update to the Castle Game already out, that I love playing or is this a different version all together.
Yes, the update applies to the existing game. The Arcade Mode (which you currently play) will be almost identical except for a few improvements such as the ability to side-scroll the level at anytime. All the new stuff (levels, items, graphics, tribes, etc) are part of the new two game modes.
I just bought the game - pretty enjoyable but I can't wait for the upcoming features - this game needs some depth! By the way - in 2.0, if You loose, You have to start everything all over again from the first level?
