I am in the correct place, I press the button, but the player doesn't do anything. What am I missing? I can dig/bump the ball when it's not receiving the serve, but otherwise it doesn't really work for me at the moment :l - It seems that I can't pass the ball when setting it for a spike, but only bump it. What am I missing? Is it timing based? - Do we have any control over where to place the ball when we spike it or pass it? Or is it automatic? - Typo: "Cina" is "China" - Small request, very far-fetched, though: any possibility of adding a Portuguese team there? Overall it's a fun game, pretty similar to the previous releases, but in HD now. Cheers! franz71 Well-Known Member Dec 28, 2009 220 1 18 Video and Software Producer Italy http://www.dardari.it #9 franz71, Sep 22, 2012 I Pjft! Thank you for the compliments. Our old Amiga OverTheNet was a "King of the beach" competitor I try to give you a response. If you press the button but you miss the ball, it means that you press the button too later. First times is hard, but realistic and give longevity to the game. When you jump for a spike, you can only make spikes or lob. The pass direction is automatic, depending of the player level. You can give a direction of the spike by make a swipe not only left or right, but also in diagonal (in Pro mode). in Arcade mode during the jump, the pad appears on the left of the screen and you can direct the ball. China...ops Next update 100% Portuguese team! Colors? Thank you!!!! Bye pjft Well-Known Member Feb 15, 2011 1,082 8 38 #10 pjft, Sep 22, 2012 Hi Francesco, Thanks for the reply and for the explanations! I have to say I never had an Amiga, sadly - I played the Amiga at my friends' place, but the only machine I had was a ZX Spectrum or a PC, where I eventually played Kings of the Beach. I will try to play it a bit more then, and see if I get the timing right. It's tricky - I'm playing in Pro Mode - but I'm having fun with it! As far as Portugal goes, wow - that's really great that you're considering adding it to the game Especially since you already have the Espinho beach in Portugal! I guess the colors are these, from an old article I found about Miguel Maia and João Brenha, the most famous Portuguese beach volleyball pair, as far as I recall: http://www.fivb.org/EN/BeachVolleyball/Competitions/WorldTour/2006/beach_page.asp?TRN=MESP2006&PG=PRE&No=10231 Actually, it seems we haven't been that well ranked recently - probably in your teams we would be more or less like the Switzerland team in terms of skill, I don't really know! One small suggestion I would have: when we are serving, if I move up or down, you could animate the players' legs, because at the moment he just slides on the ground. Thank you very much, and keep up the good work!
