Just joined the closed BETA - been looking for something like this for a while. Really hope the iOS version is decent.

Entrance to Beta did cost me £20 ($30) but I spend that a fortnight on games I play for a few days and then delete. Im looking for a long term game I can casually play with some PVP and lots of crafting.

I love the idea of being able to play on my mac seriously and casually on my iphone (we shall see how that works).

Anyway one hour in and Im enjoying it. Graphics aren't amazing but are okay. Camera doesnt rotate, or I havent worked out how to make it rotate which is a bit annoying - but mobs show up highlighted under cover so really easy to target.

Lots and lots of crafting - the whole world is player generated, weapons / armour and apparently buildings. Few quests so far are gathering etc bit boring but you can just pass them by.

Interface overall is simple and intuitive - bit fiddly to begin with.

Really love the levelling up system. You don't choose your class as per normal - every weapon / piece of armour you use you get experience from and can progress to the next level of.

For example I always choose a ranger class but here I can go about sniping and also throw in some healing magic.

Maybe later I'll make a double sword wielding fire mage warrior.

Anyway I'll post some updates as I go.

Probably not, because it's only for iPad Air 2 or better. Sorry.

Only the iPad Air 2 is listed on the device requirements on their homepage. Same for Android. Only 7"+ tablets.
Can you link me to a source which states that it will be compatible to phones?

 

Yeah originally it was iPhones. But then they removed it
But have since stated it will work unofficially on iPhones. Saying it will work on it, but they recommend playing on iPads/tablets

I have been waiting for the iOS version lol I know it already out if you buy one of the founders pack. Which I'm so if this is already out for iOS compatible. ##

 

So I'm getting excited for this, but they're releasing "beta2" for another handful of months in July, then full release, probably then iOS release after that. Pepper in some inevitable delays, I'm guessing this won't be on iOS until 2018. Dang

 

Ive been needing a mmorpg fix so thought i would check back in with Albion but it looks like its no closer to being available.

Anyone have any recommendations for any ios mmorpg's that arent titled order and chaos? I like O&C but i need something new.

 

So this has now been launched on pc and mac. It's also supposedly ported to android but not on the google play store. Anyone know anything about the iPad version?

 

I saw on the Albion forums that the ios version could still be months away.

I just signed up for the beta today. Hopefully they send out invites before leaving the office. I’d love to test this on my iPad and iPhone X while stuck with my family.
