I got this in a email Ngmoco sent me (Yes, i do know that there is another thread talking about it, but its not really focusing on Godfinger)
i bought pocket god and did not like it. maybe id like this one.. shrugs. o never mind. just realize the company putting it out. i do not like there dlc thing. good luck guys. chris.
i know one thing... this might be better then pocket god and pocket devil... just a maybe... but "i have a feeling" (black eye pea) that "imma be" (black eye pea) like it as a so so....... (BOOM)(BOOM)(POW!)(black eye pea)...
Yeah, but this is Pocket God with an objective. You probably didn't like Pocket God because it was a pointless game.
You don't know; whatever happened to Eliminate? They added the DLC from the start. And they made it seem like you needed it. Maybe thats how things will be here. Hope not though.
Wow, I have never before wished for the improved ability to squint. Very cool looking, hope more details are on the way.
you can click on the photo and it will make the font bigger so its easier on your eyes unless i miss understand the squinting. chris.
I'd call it a Pocket God ripoff, but that's what everyone said about every FPS that came around after the original Doom was released. Perhaps Bolt Creative has created a new genre. I dunno about this though. Ngmoco hadn't exactly had people happy as of late. I guess we'll see.
I lost respect for ngmoco a long time ago, and I feel bad for pocket god's dev now that ngmoco seems to be ripping pocketgod. IMO they only have Rolando to be proud of and even that is only published by them! Anyway if this is another one of their dlc gimmicks I won't be too happy!
i wouldn't call it a ripoff, if thats the case than pocketgod is no different than simcity in a sense.
We still don't have any idea what the game actually is. It might turn out to be a pocket god style thing, it might not. Honest, I don't think Ngmoco's big game reveal has been leading up to a PG clone. I'd think it a lot more likely that this will be a good deal more objective-based, and probably have a multiplayer element permeating. The awards that were posted in Plus+ seemed to hint as much.
