Actually, Pocket Planes was the inspiration. I was working on this in my spare time for almost 2 years, way before Pocket Trains was even announced.

I tip my hat to Nimblebit. Sometime back in 2012 when I was coding some prototypes for a train game, I wasn't sure which design to stick with. I knew that I wanted to make a train game. I love trains. I then discovered Pocket Planes and a light bulb went off.

If developer is reading, is it possible to let us follow the train from station to station? That id the fun part of a train game.

Hi, there are no IAPs. I am still scratching my head on how you would categorize this game. Maybe you can call it an arcade style train management sim

In a nutshell:
- You have a fleet of 15 trains.
- You start with 5 randomly unlocked trains.
- Each train has an assigned customer & route.
- Some are freight, others are passengers.
- As you make more money by delivering freight & transporting commuters, you will unlock more trains.
- It takes $500 income to unlock each train.
- The unlock is random.
- Every train has a different speed and income rating.
- You have 15 minutes.

Hhhmmmm?

You can't really follow it like in Railroad Tycoon with an action cam, if that is what you are asking.

If you touch the locomotive sprite on the map screen, or if you touch the train on the roster screen when it is out of a station, you will be taken to what I call an action scene.

In the action scene the train will drive by quite fast giving you a chance to:
- touch the coin or
- touch the woman on the helicopter or
- touch the rotating yellow dot-eater.

I forget how many action scenes I created. They are random just like the three events above.

I was more thinking like in Pocket Trains where I can see my train travelling on its journey from a 2D side view like when you have the action scene, only it will last for the whole journey.
