The results from last week are in!
In first place, with 38 votes - True Skate.
In second place, with 21 votes - Carmageddon.
In third place, with 13 votes - Skyriders.
    Congratulations to all the winners!

    Last week's thread:
    http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=161440

The first part is nomination where every member can vote up to 5 games to be included in the poll. 10 games with the most nominations will then be added to the poll on Sunday. Poll will remain open until next Wednesday and whichever game has the max votes, will be the GOTW.

    Please note:

    1) Devs cannot vote for their own games. If your game is in the poll, you can't vote. You are free to ask TA forum posters in your game release thread to vote for your game... but please don't post multiple messages about it.
    2) This voting is for TA members - no outsiders allowed. If you have to ask someone to create a new account to vote, you're doing it wrong.

Notice of this poll will be given in the threads of all nominated games.

Additional games that spring up in the next few days will be added to the OP, so no worries. Please wait until Thursday to begin giving nominations - this is so that we can get the majority of games listed before making decisions. Feel free to help out and list games I haven't added yet. I'll post the pending NZ releases to alert the community to them.

You can see new games by looking at AppShopper.com and checking the "New" tab.

Put Deep War in the list. I haven't tried it yet (or anything else, too busy) but c'mon, lil Forest Moon love (even though apple disconnected the label from the game  ).

...for me so far. Would like to put Totem Runner in there, but can't give it a vote of confidence yet until the control issues are fixed on my 3GS.

I have picked up 3 games this week and they are all something special:

    Letterpress
    Punch Quest
The King vs. Knights, Vikings, Wizards & other Scoundrels

Nobody is talking about The King vs. Knights ... game yet on the forums, but it has the same addictiveness as Punch Quest, and is also free to play and very reasonable balanced. The similarity goes further in that neither game seems to push IAP and neither currently includes a coin doubler! Please add this KvKVWS game to the nominations.

  14. Congrats True skate! Couldn't find this thread cause it was stickied! No wonder, now I know what games are out, some cool looking ones for sure.

    Right now;

    Shardlands
    Punch Quest
    DonDonPachi Maximum
    Totem Runner

I also got Hyperwave, Totem Runner and He-Man, but haven't had a chance to check those out yet... but I'm also waiting on DDPM before adding the last 3 games to my list (don't worry Echo, I'll make sure to edit this post and keep all 5 nominations in one post).

But damn what a great week! Seems like there's really something for everyone, no matter what kind of games you enjoy. =oD

I neglected to mention Eyelord in my previous post. It was released on October 19th; does that make it eligible?

Eyelord is a fine game and well worthy of a nomination. Of course Punch Quest deserves to and will win the GOTW this go round.

I still cant decide on my 5th which is either NYZ2 or Totem Runner which are both fantastic.

That would make it a Friday release and, unfortunately, no longer eligible for this week. Sorry. :(
