I just read on Gamespy that WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011 is coming to the Ipod Touch/Iphone. No word on the roster or if they are actually going to port the PSP or DS version instead of the mobile this time around, but considering the problems theyve had with past wrestling games on the Ipod, it might be the better decision. And also weird because Smackdown vs Raw 2010 was pulled from the app store in January and still has yet to make a return. The game comes out in October.
Hopefully it's much better than the last game. If it's good, I'll get it, but the gameplay in the last was so lame it didn't last on my phone for long at all. THQ can do much better than their last effort--they have a lot of experience with wrestling games. They know how to make good ones.

As SvR 2010 came out in Dec 2009, I think SvR 2011 will come in Dec this year. THQ said nothing last year about the Game before the Release, so it's all open. Someone said this years Game would be the DS-Version of it but I doubt it will be: http://community.smackdownvsraw.com/forums/topic/14581
And if it does come out, hopefully it won't get pulled in a week and might get a couple of updates. SvR 2010 had some potential for an iPhone game, but for whatever reason THQ decided to pull it extremely quickly. Add this to the fact that they apparently no longer support "Legends of Wrestlemania", which has been running at 2X speed and virtually unplayable on 3GS devices for about a year now. THQ doesn't have the best track record with iPhone wrestling games. I'm willing to give this one another shot (mostly due to the fact that I'm starving for an iPhone wrestling game), but my hopes aren't too high currently.
Just to give an update, TNA Wrestling's new game may come out before this does. Full 3D and everything and will be both on Ipod/Iphone and Ipad. It's being released by Namco. Smackdown vs Raw 2011 is still listed for release for the Iphone/Ipod. So we may not see it till December like 2010 did. Just hopefully it comes out and doesnt get pulled never to be seen again.
If it's not out by January 1'st, I don't see a release. It's still lined up on many sites as an upcoming game for iPhone. But seeming how THQ has ignored Legends of Wrestlemania, hasn't bothered to bring back Smackdown vs Raw 2011 with a control update(A Year since it was pulled). I'm almost gonna have to say that we may never see a WWE game on the iPod for a long time. But Namco has TNA Impact lined up for this month or early January, so that's pretty exciting!
Stuff that needs to be improved on smackdown vs raw 2011: .Way better graphics that support retina display .Better controls,maybe by adding a D-pad .Full WWE rosters with legends to unlock .More arena's .More game modes like royal rumble .Full comentary .Longer story line with cut scenes .More features for own superstar .General manager mode for story .Lower price HOPE THIS GAMES OUT LATER THIS MONTH
