Just an FYI, the latest PvZ update replaces the Michael Jackson zombie with the orange 'froed disco zombie.

I have the iPhone version and am playing it in 2X mode and it looks quite good. For those who have played both versions, is it worth the 9.99 for the HD version?

I'm the most critical person over prices of hd versions and this one is well worth the price tag to upgrade. I play it much much more on my iPad rather than iPhone, the graphics are great and it runs amazing. This is one of the few top notch iPad games.

I completely agree with what Jchampl said. I'm glad I bought this for my iPad, it by far my favorite game.

The Ipad version re-arranges the interface to be more like the PC version, that's the other large change in addition to the nice higher resolution graphics. But that being said, the core game isn't really changed. I doubt I would have gotten the ipad version if I already had the iphone version.

I don't have an iPad...yet, but from what I've seen at the Apple store (PvZ HD demo on the iPad), I think it's worth it, at least for me when I finally get a iPad with webcam. PvZ was the best game (Angry Birds would be 2nd) I've downloaded this year and the HD version looks too good to ignore, even for 10 bucks.

The HD is worth it for the mini games alone.

I agree. Some games just give you better graphics on the iPad, but PvZ give better graphics and a whole lot more.

One of the few games where a double-dip on the HD is a must. Sooooo good.

Worth the double-dip for sure. Looks so nice on the iPad! My most played iPad game by far.

    Is there no Lite version.
I want to see it first, before I spent another $10 on it

I agree. Even a single round. Reviews are great. But I'm not very trusting!

Well, there are games that people like, and when I bought them., I thought... ugh... what a waste of money.
I don't mind buying the Itouch version for my itouch, but then i end up paying more. spent already enough $$$ for 420 Games on Itunes

I was a virgin to the genre, and given that I disliked zombies/vampires/Twilight stuff in general, I gave this a pass. But OMG, what a great and fun game!! Highly recommend this one, even at the steep price. Now, I even like zombies. :D

PopCap never seems to put a foot wrong. I cannot wait for Peggle, Bookworm and Bejeweled to come out for the iPad.
