The developer has been active on Touch Arcade and I know he put a lot of work into the most recent update. So how is the game? Does it control well? nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #6 nightc1, Jan 7, 2013 I agree completely. I had no problem paying for the game. Hopefully this is just to get it bumped up in the rankings and that its not going to start having ads and stuff. repapermunky Well-Known Member Aug 29, 2012 624 0 0 #7 repapermunky, Jan 7, 2013 Last edited: Jan 7, 2013 The game has a great concept, but if I remember correctly the controls weren't too great. It was either the controls or the gameplay itself that had me delete the game, I cannot recall though. However, it is not even close to the worst of the AppStore. It just could have been better. EDIT: It was both. Gameplay and controls are lacking. The gameplay could use a lot of work. Little things here and there could have made it an all star game but it seems as if the dev got a little impatient and released it before fully thinking it through. A better story for one. Random missions and mini stories in free roam would have been such an easy thing to make the game that much better. It's just disappointing, and upsetting as the game has such potential. ninjackid Well-Known Member May 27, 2010 9,380 2 38 #8 ninjackid, Jan 7, 2013 This. But hopefully this will help it gain some exposure, 'cause it definitely is a solid game with lotsa potential... All y'all! Quickly! Download this now and go rate it! Maybe it'll help the dev out a bit. EDIT: Or even better, wait for it to go back to paid, then buy it to support the dev! nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #9 nightc1, Jan 7, 2013 I totally support this. And for the record on the app listing that is me with the first review and that was before the update. DBC nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #11 nightc1, Jan 7, 2013 I think it's good to leave reviews on games... especially anything I enjoy that lacks feedback. It's sad to think people would do that for pay since any legitimate reviews will thwart them pretty quick if grossly false. I do often find games from certain countries will end up with a bunch of fake reviews. Typically the games that resort to that kind of stuff are often pretty bad. I am glad though that the codes devs can give out don't allow the recipient to post a review. repapermunky Well-Known Member Aug 29, 2012 624 0 0 #12 repapermunky, Jan 7, 2013 Where did you hear that? I know that I have personally posted reviews for games that I obtained with promotional codes. nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #13 nightc1, Jan 7, 2013 I've experienced it several times. The codes they get ( I think it's 50 ) from apple when they publish have the reviews locked for recipients. This isn't the same as the promo codes like the recent EA deal or the couple of games from Starbucks. I'm talking dev codes. repapermunky Well-Known Member Aug 29, 2012 624 0 0 #14 repapermunky, Jan 7, 2013 Yeah exactly so how does that differ from the one the Micro Miner dev gave me? Isn't that a dev code? nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #15 nightc1, Jan 7, 2013 Not sure... Maybe devs can purchase separate codes or something. I have a few like Super Jump Bob that when I try to post a review it says I don't own it...yet I do own it from a dev that posted some codes. I read on another forum last year when I got into ios gaming about this issue. Maybe things changed?
